ARTS CENTER TASK FORCE
The goal of the Arts Center Task Force is to support the Tri-Cities arts community through the construction of a performing and visual arts center. We are a grassroots non-profit organization that seeks to advance the cultural and economic vitality of our region.
Our vision is to partner with other organizations in operating a self-sustaining performing and visual arts center that consistently provides entertaining, delightful, moving, surprising and educational experiences to audiences of all kinds.
OUR MISSION AND VALUES
The Tri-Cities and the Mid-Columbia Region have grown to 280,000 people, the fourth largest metropolitan area in Washington State. We have a thriving performing and visual arts community, and a growing workforce demanding more cultural engagement and entertainment. However, unlike our peer cities, we have no dedicated performing arts space.
Our mission at the Arts Center Task Force is to build a performing and visual arts center that advances the cultural and economic vitality of our region.
Through fiscal responsibility, honesty, and transparency.
Through input from arts, business and community organizations, and individuals in our decision-making.
Through embracing the richness and cultural diversity of our region, where all are welcome both on the stage and in the audience.
Through steadfast pursuit of our mission.
