PARTNERS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The Arts Center Task Force relies on the support of a committed volunteers and donor base, and the relationship with our partner organizations. We have worked hard to garner support from a range of local organizations and officials.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

With the support of LMN Architects, the Arts Center Task Force has completed a pre-design study and site plan. Our proposed facility will include an 800-seat theatre with outstanding acoustics, technical support, and comfortable seats; a large lobby that can used for events; an art gallery and educational space; a catering set-up kitchen and beverage service; and plenty of restrooms. The space is optimized for music, dance, lyric theatre, plays, popular entertainment, multimedia, film festivals and receptions, lobby and stage exhibits, speakers and conferences, and graduations.

IDENTIFY FUNDING MECHANISMS

The Arts Center Task Force has identified public and private mechanisms for collecting the funding necessary to build. We can expect to raise about $15 million from individual donors and corporate sponsors, $5 million from grants, and we hope to raise $20 million from public funding opportunites.

BUSINESS PLAN

The Arts Center Task Force has produced a business plan necessary to completing this project. The Center will be in use 240 days a year: hosting resident companies, community groups, sponsored shows, and private events.  A pro forma operating model estimates total revenues for the Center will be approximately $1.03M in the third year of operations!
